A24: brief overnight closures of Tivoli and Castel Madama ramps

For urgent maintenance work, between 10 p.m. on Dec. 09 and 5 a.m. the following day, short alternating closures lasting about 2 hours will be arranged for the following ramps:

  • exit ramp from the A24 freeway at the Tivoli junction, limited to traffic coming from the Roma Est/Longhezza Barriera and heading towards the ordinary Tivoli road system, and entrance ramp to the A24 freeway with A25/AQ/TE direction.

Consequently, on the aforementioned days and times, all vehicles coming from the Barriera di Roma Est and heading towards the ordinary road system of Tivoli will be able to use the Lunghezza Junction and travel along the SP49a (Via Polense) and the SP51a (Via Maremmana Inferiore) in the direction of Tivoli, and vehicles coming from the ordinary road system of Tivoli and heading towards the A25/AQ/TE will be able to use the Castel Madama Junction.

  • exit ramp from the A24 freeway at the Castel Madama junction, limited to traffic coming from the Roma Est/Lunghezza barrier and heading towards the ordinary Castel Madama road system, and entrance ramp to the A24 freeway with A25/AQ/TE direction.

Consequently, on the aforementioned days and times, all vehicles coming from Barriera di Roma Est/Lunghezza and heading toward the Castel Madama ordinary road system will be able to take advantage of the Tivoli Interchange, using the alternative route of the SS5 Tiburtina/Valeria, and vehicles coming from the Castel Madama ordinary road system, and heading toward the A25/AQ/TE, will be able to take advantage of the Vicovaro/Mandela Interchange.
