A24: Tivoli section closure – A24/A1 interconnection.

The concessionaire Strada dei Parchi Spa announces that due to urgent maintenance work, from 22:00 p.m. on September 03 to 06:00 a.m. the following day will be arranged, barring unforeseen circumstances, the closure to traffic of the westbound carriageway (RM direction) of the A24 between the Tivoli junction and the A24/A1 interconnection both in the direction of Florence and in the direction of Naples; for all vehicles coming from L’Aquila/A25/Teramo and heading both towards Rome and towards the A1 Florence-Naples freeway, a mandatory exit will be arranged at the Tivoli junction and at the same time the closure of the Tivoli junction ramp in the direction of Rome/the A24/A1 interconnection, both in the direction of Florence and in the direction of Naples.

Consequently, on the aforementioned days and times, vehicles heading towards Rome will have some alternative routes available consisting of Via Polense and, to follow, Via di Lunghezzina, to re-enter the A24 highway via the Lunghezza Junction in the direction of the Capital, or continue on Via Prenestina in the direction of GRA; while those heading towards the A1 highway will be able to enter via the Lunghezza Junction in the direction of Florence/Naples.
