Strada dei Parchi Spa is a company of Toto Holding Spa.
Established in 2003 as a joint venture between the Autostrade per l’Italia Group and the Toto Group, it has been wholly owned by the Toto Group Holding Company since 2011 when the company exited the Atlantia Group.
Strada dei Parchi has a concession to build and operate the A24 (Rome-Teramo) and A25 (Torano- Pescara) freeways and related services, taking over from the previous “management on behalf of ANAS.”

Immersed in a distinctive and unforgettable landscape, the A24 and A25 offer a quick and convenient connection between theA1 Milan-Naples Autostrada del Sole and theA14 Bologna-Bari-Taranto Adriatic Highway, but also the possibility of a journey of discovery of an extraordinary territory, the one between the Lazio and Abruzzo regions, involving 6 natural parks and the Gran Sasso massif.

In 2003, with a total financial commitment of more than 1 billion euros, Strada dei Parchi launched a major Investment Plan. In 2014, the plan was fully implemented as planned. That plan included, among others, the Rome Complanari, or the doubling and redesigning of the carriageways of the urban section of the A24. One of the few major Italian works completed. The only one finished and opened to traffic ahead of schedule and at no additional cost. The Complanari represented a turning point in the Capital’s traffic and thus changed the entire access system from Rome’s eastern quadrant for the better. The plan has, in twelve years, met the goals set with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the territorial authorities.
These include: the upgrading, modernization and redevelopment of the A24 and A25 highways, with the aim of providing the best possible service in terms of safety, comfort, fluidity and information.
A goal that still drives the search for and use of the most advanced technologies to offer all travelers the ideal solutions in terms of safety and services, increasingly reducing risks for travelers.
Aware of the great natural heritage and beauty of this scenery, for more than 15 years, Strada dei Parchi has been playing an important role in the enhancement and control of protected areas, placing environmental values at the center of its activities“because there is no future for economic development if environmental values are not placed at the center of every choice.”
