How the toll is calculated
The highway toll is the amount a traveler is required to pay for the use of the highway.
Parks Road fares have not been increased since 2017 and will remain stuck at those values until 2032.
The toll is commensurate with the kilometers driven, the type of vehicle used, and the characteristics of the infrastructure (flat or mountain highway). To calculate the highway toll, it is necessary to multiply the unit rate per kilometer pertaining to Strada dei Parchi, increased by the amount pertaining to ANAS (as per Law 102/2009) for the kilometers driven. To the amount obtained, 22 percent VAT should be added and a rounding up or down to the nearest 10 cents should be applied.

How to pay
Toll can be disbursed through 3 payment modes (operator, self-service, dynamic):
- Cash on manual gates or through automatic cash machines. Major foreign currencies are also accepted for cash toll payment: Norwegian Kroner, Swedish Kroner, U.S. Dollar, Swiss Franc, Pound Sterling, Canadian Dollar, Danish Krone. Any change is paid in euros;
- With Telepedestrian devices, in dynamic, self-service/operator/dynamic mode, which allows the smooth flow of traffic without stopping both inbound and outbound;
- Scalar and C/C Viacards usable in all ports except the dedicated Telepedestrian ports;
- Affiliated Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard/ Aura, American Express, Diners) the ATM (Fastpay) usable in all ports except for the dedicated Toll Gates.

In case of non-payment
In some cases it may happen that the toll is not paid. Under such circumstances, at the automatic gate, one must press the request for assistance button and wait for the operator’s response. If the problem cannot be resolved, the failure to collect is formalized by issuing a non-payment report (the R.M.P.P.).
The amount due must be paid, without any surcharge, no later than 15 days from the date of issuance of the R.M.P. After this deadline, the amount will be increased by the assessment charges (Article 176 paragraph 11a of the New Highway Code).
Failure to pay the amount due will result in the enforced recovery of the debt with the consequent aggravation of expenses to be borne by the debtor (Art. 373 Regulations to the Highway Code). In such a case, moreover, the relevant acts will be forwarded to the Traffic Police for the consequent contestation of the administrative sanctions referred to in Article 176, paragraphs 11°, 11° bis and 21°, of the Highway Code for the ascertained violation of the obligation to pay the highway toll (which provides for the payment of a sum from € 87.00 to € 344.00 and the deduction of 2 points from the driving license of the actual offender).
The toll can be paid online or by bank transfer payable to:
STRADA DEI PARCHI S.p.A. at Poste Italiane S.p.A.
IBAN IT 70 U076 0103 2000 0003 7758 711 – BIC/SWIFT BPPIITRRXXX (indicating license plate and rmpp no. in the reason for payment); or at:
- SdP Motorway Stations in the operator-operated gates only;
– Post Offices by depositing the amount due on account no. 37758711 made out to Strada dei Parchi, indicating in the reason for payment the license plate of the vehicle and the number of non-payment.

In case of ticket loss
In the event that the Traveler is unable to return the entry ticket because it is lost or not collected, the toll to be paid shall be calculated from the farthest entry toll gate. However, the Customer has the right to show proof of the actual toll booth of entry and pay the corresponding toll.
Strada dei Parchi, limited to reports of non-payment (R.M.P.P) issued on the network under its jurisdiction, reserves the right to accept a declaration of the entry station (ex art. 176 paragraph 16 Legislative Decree 30.04.1992 n. 285) and to carry out subsequent checks on the truthfulness of the declaration.
The entry station declaration form, duly completed and signed can be:
- sent by regular mail to Strada dei Parchi SpA, via Giulio Vincenzo Bona 105,00156 Rome. Or:
- via e-mail to: rmpp@stradadeiparchi.it. Strada dei Parchi will send a payment slip with recalculated toll amount from the declared toll gate. This new bulletin can be paid in the manner indicated above.
