“Viabilità Italia” has presented the summer departure calendar with heavy traffic bulletins expected for the coming weeks, corresponding to the last departures for the summer vacations and the usual seasonal “counter-exodus” with the return to places of residence. For more details, it is suggested to consult Viabilità Italia – Centro Coordinamento Nazionale Viabilità
As every year, in anticipation of a significant increase in traffic volumes, it is recommended to consult the traffic news before setting out on the road and, of course, to give full concentration when driving, getting behind the wheel of an efficient and fully equipped vehicle, in optimal physical condition and well informed about road, traffic and weather conditions. In view of the high temperatures these days, it is advisable to travel while keeping an adequate supply of water on board.

THE SITUATION ON PARKS ROAD UNTIL SEPTEMBER
As for the A24 and A25 highways, the second half of August and the month of September present peculiar characteristics related to the specificities of the territory crossed by the highways connecting Lazio and Abruzzo. In particular, the section most affected by traffic flows will be the Lazio section of the A24 between the Carsoli and Tangenziale Est interchanges on the Urban Penetration Section. In particularly heavy traffic conditions, however, there could be slowdowns at immovable construction sites for earthquake safety work on the Tornimparte-L’Aquila Ovest section.
On the Carsoli – Roma Tangenziale Est section, in particular, vacation departures are expected to continue, with yellow sticker flows (heavy traffic) for all Saturdays in August and Sunday 18, with peaks in the morning eastbound (toward Teramo / Pescara).
Instead, the days of very heavy traffic (red dot) will mark the beginning of the “counter-exodus” and will be concentrated between the last Sunday of August and the first two Sundays of September, mainly westbound (towards Rome) and in the afternoon hours, coinciding with the peak of the return from the vacations, with a less intense, yellow dot queue for all Sunday afternoons from the middle until the end of the month.
On these days of heavy traffic, in order to facilitate the flow of traffic, a stop has been imposed on heavy vehicles and trucks over 7.5 tons.
