The Flaians and the Strega

Abruzzo greats who have won the Flaiano Prize and the Strega Prize meet Friday, Feb. 7, at the Petruzzi Auditorium in Pescara.

The meeting promoted by theEnnio Flaiano Cultural Association and the Flaiano International Prizes will feature Donatella Di Pietrantonio, winner of the 2024 Strega Prize; Alfredo Favi, husband of Ada d’Adamo, winner of the Flaiano Prize and the 2023 Strega Prize; Anna Longoni, among the leading scholars of Ennio Flaiano’s work; Simone Gambacorta, journalist and profound connoisseur of Mario Pomilio’s work; and Loretta Santini, Editorial Director of Elliot. Against this backdrop, speakers and scholars will dialogue to create an engaging encounter as part of the events of the Flaiano Awards, thanks to the Association that bears his name and the Foundation dedicated to the unforgettable Edoardo Tiboni, which has Flaiano Awards President Carla Tiboni as director of the new cultural initiative.

The event has as main sponsor Toto Holding, always in the front row in supporting and promoting Abruzzo’s cultural heritage. An unmissable event for all lovers of literature, dedicated to the most prestigious literary awards in Italy and the great Abruzzese authors who have won them.
