A24: nighttime closures Gran Sasso Tunnel

For maintenance needs of the fire-fighting system inside the Gran Sasso Tunnel and for maintenance of FiberCop’s data transmission network, from 22:00 on March 24, 25 and 26 to 06:00 on the following days, the Colledara/San Gabriele – Assergi freeway section will be closed to traffic, limited to the westbound carriageway with direction AQ/RM.

On the above days and times, vehicles coming from Teramo/Giulianova/A14 and heading towards L’Aquila/Rome will have to exit the A24 via the Colledara/San Gabriele junction; please note that the continuation of the route via the SS80 is affected by the presence of several construction sites with possible inconvenience. For vehicles coming from Teramo/Giulianova/A14 and heading to L’Aquila/Rome, it is advisable to use the alternative route consisting of the southbound carriageway of the A14 freeway to be traveled in the direction of Bari until joining the A25 freeway in the direction of Rome; for journeys heading to L’Aquila, it is advisable to exit the A25 freeway via the Bussi/Popoli junction and travel along the SS153 (Piana di Navelli) in the direction of L’Aquila.
