In order to carry out maintenance work on the Aterno and Raio Viaducts, from 10 p.m. Nov. 14 to 6 a.m. the following day, the section of the highway between the L’Aquila Ovest and Tornimparte interchanges will be closed to traffic in both directions.
Consequently, on the day and at the times indicated above, vehicles coming from Rome/A25 and heading towards L’Aquila/Teramo will be required to exit the A24 freeway via the Tornimparte interchange, while all vehicles coming from Teramo and heading towards the A25/Rome will be required to exit at the L’Aquila Ovest interchange; for both routes, it is recommended to use the SS17 and the SP1 Amiternina to Villagrande to and from L’Aquila. In the circumstance, traffic at the hamlet of Villagrande will be managed under an alternating one-way system, using movers, by personnel specifically assigned by SdP.
