A24: postponement of nighttime closure Assergi-San Gabriele/Colledara section towards Teramo

April 18 – The concessionaire Strada dei Parchi announces that, due to the adverse weather conditions forecast for the night of April 18-19, the traffic closure of the Assergi – Colledara/San Gabriele highway section in the direction of Teramo scheduled from 10 p.m. today, April 18, to 6 a.m. tomorrow, April 19 , is canceled and postponed from 10 p.m. on April 22 and 23 to 6 a.m. on the following days.

Please note that, on the days and times indicated above, vehicles coming from AQ/A25/RM and heading towards Teramo will have to exit the A24 at the Assergi Junction and continue on the SS80, in the direction of Teramo, to re-enter the highway through the Colledara/San Gabriele Junction (not recommended) or at the Basciano Junction to continue towards Teramo. For long distances and for heavy vehicles heading to Teramo/Giulianova, it is recommended to use the alternative route consisting of the A25 Torano – Pescara freeway, continuing the journey on the A14 in the direction of Ancona until the Giulianova/Teramo junction and, via the SS80 freeway, reach Teramo; alternatively, it is advisable to exit the A24 highway via the L’Aquila Est junction, travel along the SS17 and the SS153 (Piana di Navelli) to enter the A25 highway at the Bussi junction and travel along it in the direction of the A14 until the Giulianova junction to reach Teramo via the SS80 freeway; further alternative route is as follows: exit the A24 highway at the L’Aquila Ovest junction, drive along the SS80 to the Capannelle Pass, continue along the SS150 and join the A24 highway via the unmanned Basciano interchange.
