The concessionaire Strada dei Parchi Spa announces that in order to allow static load tests to be carried out on the new SS17 and Fosso Vetoio Viaducts, from 10 p.m. on July 23 to 6 a.m. the following day, the section of the highway between the Tornimparte and L’Aquila Ovest interchanges will be closed to traffic in both directions.
Consequently, on the aforementioned days and times, vehicles coming from Rome/A25 and heading towards L’Aquila/Teramo will be required to exit the A24 freeway via the Tornimparte interchange while, for all vehicles coming from Teramo and heading towards the A25/RM, they will be required to exit the A24 freeway via the L’Aquila Ovest interchange; for both routes, it is recommended to use the SS17 and the SP1 Amiternina for Villagrande to and from L’Aquila. In the circumstance, traffic at the hamlet of Villagrande will be managed under an alternating one-way system, using movers, by personnel specifically appointed by SdP.
