FESTIV’ALBA No. 9: A symphony of history, culture and entertainment

35 events, 7 municipalities, 7 churches, a tower, a garden, a rural amphitheater and his majesty the Roman amphitheater of Alba Fucens: declined in numbers, the 9th edition of Festiv’Alba releases all the energy of an extraordinary research effort. But declined under the lens of artistic thickness, it is evident how it has long since become a reference point and a must-attend event for fans of cultural and sustainable tourism in the summer of central Italy.

The summer event series organized by theHarmonia Novissima cultural association with President Giuseppe Franceschini and artistic director Maestro Massimo Coccia runs from June 29 to Sept. 6 at various locations in the municipalities of Massa d’Albe, Avezzano, Magliano de’ Marsi, Scurcola Marsicana, Ovindoli, Rocca di Mezzo and Rocca di Cambio in the Sirente Velino Regional Park area.

The playbill embraces various artistic genres where the prestige of ancient, modern and contemporary repertoire is combined with the plurality of stylistic offerings. The declared strategic objective is to build a cultural-tourist chain hinged on a substantial artistic program enriched by the presence of nationally and internationally renowned performers as well as young emerging talents.
