In order to carry out maintenance work on the Valle Orsara Viaduct, from 10 p.m. on Jan. 27, 28 and 29 to 6 a.m. on the following days, traffic closures will be ordered on the section of the highway between the L’Aquila Ovest and Tornimparte interchanges in both directions.
Consequently, on the above-mentioned days and times, for vehicles coming from Rome/A25 and heading towards L’Aquila/Teramo, a mandatory exit from the A24 freeway will be arranged through the Tornimparte junction, while for all vehicles coming from Teramo and heading towards the A25/Rome, a mandatory exit from the A24 freeway will be arranged through the L’Aquila Ovest junction; for both routes, it is recommended to use the SS17 and the SP1 Amiternina to Villagrande to and from L’Aquila. In the circumstance, traffic at the hamlet of Villagrande will be managed under an alternating one-way system, using movers, by personnel specially appointed by Strada dei Parchi.
