A24: night closure Gran Sasso Assergi/Colledara S.Gabriele Tunnel

For routine periodic technical inspections, from 10 p.m. on Jan. 14 and 16 to 6 a.m. on the following days, the Assergi – Colledara/San Gabriele highway section will be closed to traffic, limited to the eastbound carriageway with Teramo direction.

On the days and times indicated above, vehicles coming from AQ/A25/RM and heading towards Teramo will have to exit the A24 at the Assergi Junction. For long distances and for heavy vehicles heading to Teramo/Giulianova, it is recommended to use the alternative route consisting of the A25 Torano – Pescara freeway, continuing the journey on the A14 towards Ancona until the Giulianova/Teramo junction and, via the SS80 freeway, reach Teramo; alternatively, it is advisable to exit the A24 via the L’Aquila Est junction, travel along the SS17 and the SS153 (Piana di Navelli) to the Bussi junction, enter the A25 and travel along it in the direction of the A14 until the Giulianova junction, from which it is possible to reach Teramo via the SS80 expressway. Please note that the SS80 to Valico delle Capannelle is affected by the presence of several construction sites with possible inconvenience.
