In order to resume management for the operation and maintenance of the A24 and A25 highways, on December 19, 2023 Strada dei Parchi S.p.A. filed with the Court of Rome a formal deed of renunciation(pursuant to Article 43 of Legislative Decree No. 14 ss. mm. ii. of January 12, 2019) of the procedure to which it had been admitted on March 23, 2023, and is therefore no longer subject to the arrangement with creditors registered with the Court of Rome under No. R.G. 16-1/2022.
The request for liquidation arrangement had become necessary due to the revocation, ordered by the Council of Ministers by DL No. 85/2022 and later converted into State Law, by which the Company was deprived of its characteristic activity. A condition that today, by virtue of Article 14-bis of DL October 18, 2023 No. 145, which provides for the reallocation of the management of the two highways, is definitively overcome.
It should also be noted that, on the same date of submission of the waiver, the Company formalized a reorganization plan, certified pursuant to Article 56 CCII by Prof. Alberto Dello Strologo, which provides for the full discharge of Strada dei Parchi’s liabilities. By order dated December 21, 2023, the Court of Rome, XIV Civil Bankruptcy Section, declared the arrangement procedure initiated by Strada dei Parchi S.p.A. extinct.
