10 useful tips before you get behind the wheel:
Fasten the seat belt and make sure all the passengers have it fastened.
Do not drive after a large lunch or after consuming alcohol.
In case of a baby on board, always use a legally compliant car seat.
Focus on driving: phone only with hands-free kit or headset.
Keep safe distances from other vehicles.
Stop in case of drowsiness.
Make one stop every two hours of driving and,if possible, alternate driving with one of the passengers.
Perform a thorough check of the car before leaving.
Keep your headlights on even during the day (suburban roads and highways).
Check the condition of the tires.
