In the 1980s a Japanese public TV crew came to Abruzzo to record these beautiful images of Scanno, Castrovalva and the Sagittario Valley.
A shepherd with his flock, the typical costume, the Catenaccio wedding rite and the faces of the inhabitants are matched with the music of a Japanese tenor softly intoning an aria by Gaetano Donizetti.
