Strada dei Parchi ‘s vehicle fleet is going green and becoming cleaner and more sustainable thanks to Renexia Recharge and the evway platform. In fact, the concessionaire of the A24 and A25 highways has renewed its car fleet with the entry of 34 Opel Corsa full electric and 8 Panda mild hybrids supplied by Renexia Recharge, the Renexia Group company aimed at innovative solutions opened by electric mobility.
The new cars go to strengthen the garrison that the staff in charge of managing the Strada dei Parchi company offers day and night, including holidays, to its customers on a network of more than 280 kilometers, which has the privilege of touching as many as 3 National Parks and 3 Regional Parks, connecting Rome with the capitals of what is called the Green Region of Europe, Abruzzo. Among the activities carried out by the staff is the surveillance and maintenance of the highway infrastructure and the management of highway facilities and stations.
A special platform, designed by evway, enables the monitoring of all new vehicle activities remotely pooled with the 41 charging points distributed among the Concessionaire’s headquarters in Rome, the three Highway Safety Centers (C.S.A.), the four Plant Units, and the highway stations. Said platform enables monitoring of vehicle location, reporting of charging sessions, and management of charging points up to necessary maintenance. A development project is also underway to provide electric charging stations at all Service Areas on the A24 and A25 freeway network; at present, they have already been installed at the A25 Monte Velino Nord and Sud, Brecciarola Nord and Sud and A24 Tiburtina Sud Service Areas, the latter with ultra-fast charging.
