Measure 3.1.c – Site management criteria adopted by the Concessionaire in accordance with Measure 8.2

Worksite planning represents an essential tool for the effective and efficient management of worksites for works on the freeway section. This aspect plays a fundamental role for Strada dei Parchi SpA in order to achieve the objectives set by the Company, in line with the obligations of a concessionary nature, and in accordance with the strategic role that freeway transport plays at a national level. Construction site planning aims to achieve the targets set for proper and effective maintenance of the infrastructure and to minimize the impact on users of the presence of construction sites for works; in particular, where possible, it aims to:

  • Reduce the presence of construction sites by attempting to amalgamate work, with more consideration given to days/periods characterized by high traffic flows (near holidays/exodus or events with high appeal such as fairs and events);
  • Provide for the installation of permanent construction sites during periods with less traffic while also taking into account seasonality, related to typical weather conditions on the A24 and A25 highways;
  • Avoiding work during high-intensity phases in terms of traffic, such as holidays and weekends;
  • Comply, when planning activities, with the guidelines provided by the Conceding Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation;

respecting the safety of personnel and workers dedicated to the work.
Although the goal is to arrive at a schedule as closely in line with the actual execution of the work as possible, it is not excluded that it may be modified in consideration of factors such as weather conditions, operational needs, or rescheduling of activities with the third-party companies involved in carrying out the activities or with the investment commissioners.
In accordance with Resolution 132, attached at the following link is the impact of construction sites, determined as a % of lane kilometers that made available to traffic for each elementary section, for the year 2025.
