The concessionaire Strada dei Parchi announces that, for works related to the seismic upgrading of the Le Pastena Viaduct, from 22:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 to 06:00 a.m. the following day, the freeway section between the Tornimparte and L’Aquila Ovest junctions will be closed to traffic in both directions.
Consequently, on the days and times indicated above, vehicles coming from Rome/A25 and heading toward L’Aquila/Teramo will be required to exit the A24 highway via the Tornimparte interchange while all vehicles coming from Teramo and heading toward the A25/RM will be required to exit the A24 highway via the L’Aquila Ovest interchange. For both routes, it is recommended to use SS17 and SP 1 Amiternina to Villagrande to and from L’Aquila. In the circumstance, traffic at the hamlet of Villagrande will be managed under an alternating one-way system, using movers, by personnel specifically appointed by SdP.
