Corno Grande (2912 m a.s.l.) is the highest peak of the Gran Sasso d’Italia mountain range and the continental Apennines. It is located in the central Abruzzo Apennines within the territory of the municipalities of Pietracamela and Isola del Gran Sasso d’Italia (TE), within the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, south of Corno Piccolo, from which it is separated by the Vallone delle Cornacchie.
