A24 and A25: An Increasingly Informative and Engaging Journey with Interactive Maps

The “strada dei parchi” website is introducing new digital tools that allow users to check traffic conditions, roadwork, and webcams; plan their trips; and find out average travel times—all in a simple, immediate, and geolocated way.

The ” strada dei parchi ” website is becoming even more user-friendly for those traveling on the A24 and A25 highways, with new digital services designed to make network information clearer, more immediate, and more accessible. No longer just static or text-based informational pages, but interactive tools that help users navigate before and during their trip, allowing them to check traffic conditions, roadwork, weather conditions, and the main services available along the route in just a few steps.

A new page with information on traffic and roadwork

The first point of access is the new Infotrafficopage, where traffic information is compiled into a single list updated in real time. Using the filter buttons, you can quickly select different types of events, ranging from adverse weather conditions to traffic delays, from road closures to temporarily suspended services at rest areas. A dedicated section also allows you to view a list of active construction sites, including start and end dates, so you can plan ahead for any lane reductions or closures due to ongoing work.

The map that lets you plan your own itinerary

The most significant new feature, however, is the Interactive Map, which brings this information directly onto the highway network. Users can select the section of interest and view geolocated events along the route, without necessarily needing to know the nearest exits or the kilometer markers. This makes it easier to locate and access information on traffic, roadwork, closures, service areas, parking areas, and available lanes at toll plazas. Simply click on the icon on the map to open a pop-up window with all the relevant details.

Thanks to a convenient route search menu located at the top of the map, users can select the starting and ending stations of their itinerary to view its length, average and estimated travel time—with real-time traffic highlighted by colors on the map—as well as any disruptions and toll costs. A new, comprehensive, and integrated tool to help you prepare for your trip with fewer worries and fewer surprises.

A Map to Help Us See Things More Clearly

Next to the events map, you’ll also find the Webcam Map, an ideal tool for gaining a visual and immersive view of conditions along the network. With over 50 cameras, you can observe—almost in real time, with a delay of just a few minutes— traffic conditions, visibility, and weather conditions on various sections of the highway, including some particularly critical areas such as Rome’s Urban Access Section, the junction between the A25 and A14, and the entrances to the main tunnels.

Rounding out the picture is the new page dedicated to average travel times, designed to provide an additional reference point for each individual route. The statistics allow users to check the average travel time trends and compare them with any delays, including in relation to information on toll refunds due to road construction.

It’s easy to use: from the TRAFFIC section of the website, you can choose to view the list of events, navigate the interactive map, check webcam footage, or view average travel times. Each tool serves a different purpose, but they all share the same goal: to help users plan their trips with more comprehensive, organized, and context-specific information.

The new pages, which will soon be available on the interactive kiosks at service areas and major shopping centers in Lazio and Abruzzo, represent another step forward in the digital transformation of “strada dei parchi”’s services. This is a practical way to make travel on the A24 and A25 highways increasingly informed, comfortable, and safe.
