- Plan departures, avoiding the most critical hours
- Check the maintenance of the vehicle before the trip and especially tires and brakes
- Fasten seat belts, both front and rear, and place children in the appropriate seats
- Observe speed limits and safe distance

- Travel rested and stop at the first hint of fatigue in service and parking areas
- Always occupy the clearest lane to the right
- Zero alcohol before and during the trip
